How to Use the Calendar Maker
Getting Started
Personalizing your calendar: Click on any text field in the calendar to start editing. You can add events, birthdays, appointments, holidays, or any other information directly into the calendar dates. The text editor sidebar will appear to help you format your text.
Changing months and years: Use the dropdown menus at the top to select different months and years. You can also choose "Full Year" from the month dropdown to create a one-page yearly calendar with all 12 months.
Week start options: Choose whether your calendar week starts on Sunday or Monday using the radio buttons in the control panel.
Customizing Your Calendar
Changing background images: Use the "Previous" and "Next" buttons to browse through different calendar background images. The image counter shows which image you're currently viewing.
Editing text and titles: Click on the calendar title, overlay text, or any date to start editing. The text editor sidebar provides options for font, size, color, and alignment.
Text formatting: The sidebar text editor allows you to change fonts, adjust text size, modify colors, set text alignment, and change background colors for individual text elements.
Advanced Features
Calendar color schemes: Use the "Calendar Color Scheme" section in the text editor to change the day header backgrounds and grid border colors for the entire calendar.
State saving: Your changes are automatically saved as you work, so you can switch between months or images without losing your customizations.
Clearing content: Use the "Clear All Text" button to remove all custom text and reset the calendar to its default state.
Printing Your Calendar
Print setup: The calendars are designed for standard Letter size (8.5" x 11") paper, but will also work with A4 and other international paper sizes.
How to print: Once you've customized your calendar, click the "Print Calendar" button. This will open your browser's print dialog where you can adjust print settings if needed.
Print tips: For best results, make sure your browser is set to print in landscape orientation for full-year calendars, or portrait orientation for monthly calendars.
